Villa Location

Villa Kali Thea is located 25 minutes from the port and Naxos Town and the airport is a 20 minute drive away.

It is situated on beautiful, sandy south-west coast and is reached by following the main road to Alyko then via a short private track.

The villa is set in its own large garden, on a small development of individually designed, privately owned houses. A 5 minute walk from the villa brings you to a beautiful sweeping bay with golden sand. On the way to the beach there is an excellent family run taverna with a large swimming pool.
This relaxed and peaceful setting also benefits from further local tavernas, small supermarkets, bakeries and beautiful beaches within walking distance or a 5 - 10 minute drive.

Further Detail
Naxos is located in the heart of the Greek Cycladic Islands and is easily reached by plane or ferry.

Flights
With most major European airports now offering daily flights to Athens International Airport the most direct route is a flight to Athens with a connecting flight from Athens to Naxos Island with Olympic Airlines who offer daily connections. The island flights are very popular during the summer months therefore early booking is recommended.

Ferries
An alternative to the connecting flight is a ferry from the mainland port of Piraeus. Naxos is located in the hub of the Cycladic island ferry network and it is served very well with daily connections (subject to weather conditions).

The highspeed ferry offers a swift and comfortable 3 1/2 hr trip with Hellenic Seaways. Or alternatively take a relaxing 5 1/2 hrs cruise on the regular ferry Blue Star Ferries or Greek Ferries. Again, in high season, booking is recommended.

Travel to the port of Pireaus from Athens airport
The port at Piraeus is well connected with Athens airport and can be easily reached by a good regular bus service X96 from directly outside the airport terminal. Allow between 1 - 1 1/2 hours due to the Athens traffic. The journey costs approximately 5 euros per person.

Taxis are also located just outside the terminal. Confirm the price before commencing the journey to Piraeus.

The metro also offers good connections to Piraeus. See the Amel website

Flights to other Cycladic Islands
Other routes may be worth exploring depending on where you live. From the UK flights are also available to the Cycladic Islands of Mykonos, Santorini and Crete. A ferry connection to Naxos Island can then be taken.
